1. Tam Coc - Bich Dong

Tam Coc means 3 Caves, including Ca Cave, Hai Cave, and Ba Cave (Cave 1, Cave 2, and Cave 3).

Coming to Ca Cave, you can feel the cool air and many stalactites hanging down with various shapes. About 1km from Ca Cave is Hai Cave with a length of 60m and the shape of a rock arch. Lower than Hai Cave is the modest Ba Cave with a length of 50m.

Bich Dong is located 2 km from Tam Coc, also known as the Green Cave. You should notice that it is the second most beautiful Cave in the South. Bich Dong consists of a water Cave that pierces the mountain bed and a dry Cave located halfway up the mountain. Depending on your personal schedule, you can choose the right time to travel to Tam Coc Bich Dong as below:

  • January to March every year is the Bai Dinh Pagoda festival, so you can combine going to the ceremony and exploring Tam Coc Bich Dong on this occasion

  • May to June is the ripe rice season in the Tam Coc Bich Dong field. The image of green trees mixed with ripe yellow rice fields will create a picture with beautiful colors.

2. Thung Nang Cave

It will be a great loss if you haven’t visited Thung Nang Cave since it is only 5 minutes by motorcycle from Tam Coc - Bich Dong. The area is covered by a large lake and imposing high rocky mountains, which together create a serene and tranquil beauty.

Here, you will discover that Thung Nang is truly unique when you sit in a boat and then navigate the narrow waterway that leads to the caves. Additionally, there is a diverse ecosystem of plants and animals, including plenty of birds singing in the sky, fish swimming in the pond, and beautiful green grass on both sides of the hill.

3. Thien Ha Cave - Thien Thanh Cave

These are two extremely precious natural heritages in Ninh Binh province.

Coming to Thien Ha Cave, you will be immediately impressed with the extremely quiet space bestowed by nature. Thien Ha Cave is divided into two separate areas, including a 200m long dry Cave and a 500m long water Cave with many unique shapes.

The deeper you go into the Caves tour, you will feel like you are lost in a palace gilded by colorful stalactites under the sun. In addition, there is also a "stone" associated with famous fairy tales of ancient Vietnamese people.

4. Hang Mua - Dance Cave

About 10 km from Ninh Binh city center is Am Tien Ninh Binh Cave. This can be said to be the most impressive destination when in the middle of the Cave appears a blue lake. The water is amazingly clear, sometimes you can even see the moss under the surface of the lake.

Surrounding the lake are steep rocky cliffs along with a path weaving at the foot of the mountain, where you can take a scenic walk.

6. Trang An Caves
