Address: No.40 Nha Chung street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi.
For outside visit: all time
For inside visit: visitors can only enter St. Joseph's Cathedral in Hanoi in the opening time of ceremonial practice as the following schedule:
Weekday: 5.30 pm and 6.15 pm.
Saturday: 6 pm.
Sunday: 5am, 7am, 9am, 11am, 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm.
A special ceremony is on March 19th every year.

2. History and Architecture of St Joseph Cathedral Hanoi
2.1. History
The land used to build was belong Bao Thien pagoda, one of the most important pagodas in Hanoi since the 10th century. TheThe French colonial destroys and built Cathedral from 1884 -1888.
In the beginning, this place is very deserted. Then, in 1890 they opened the new road directly to Hoan Kiem Lake, which became a favorable and essential position in the city.
