1. History of Mua cave
Following the legend, King Tran Thai Tong under the Tran dynasty built Am Thai Vi in this mountainous area, frequented to watch the beautiful women dancing and singing, so this place was named Mua Cave- meaning Dancing cave. Here was also used as a mobile hospital during the Vietnam war.

Conquering yourself, climbing nearly 500 stone steps up the mountain, is not an easy challenge, but when you reach the top of the mountain, you will feel like you have won over yourself. That's such a good experience !!!

To reach the peak, visitors will climb up near 500 stones step. In the middle of the way up, there are two paths:

The right one leading to one of the pagodas and virtual tower

The left one leading to the stone statue of Quan Am (The Goddess of Mercy) and the lying dragon statue. So, turn left to get the most breathtaking masterpieces of the whole area. Or visit both places if you can.

4. Best time to visit Mua Cave
Ninh Binh has typical weather. So you can go any time during the year. However, if you want to get the best photos, you should choose when Tam Coc is in the most beautiful ripe rice season. It is also the time of transition between May and June.
If you go in the summer, it is recommended to start the trip in the early morning or later afternoon to avoid hot and intense sunlight. Meanwhile, in the winter, the best time will be before 4 pm. So the tourist can get back before dark.

On the way to the Mua cave destination, there are lots of people waving to you for parking with the price of 10,000 VND or more. But maybe you don't know if there is an available and free parking lot insider, and you don't need to walk a kilometer from there to place buy tickets. The road to the peak of the mountain is quite tricky, and many rocks are rugged in the moving parts, so you must be attentive to make safety!

Should wear sports shoes and comfortable clothes with nearly 500 steps you may feel tired. Do not forget to bring a small water /beer or snack when you rest.

To take good photos you can climb to - Ngoa Long Mountain, please be careful these areas is quite narrow, so you should line up to take pictures to avoid pushing.

Up on the top, you can enjoy the panoramic view, capturing the beauty of the vast stretches of fields, sometimes the green color of young seedlings, sometimes the yellow color of ripe rice.

It is the beauty of the water flowing at the foot of the mountain, crossing the green fields. In the distance are small boats floating along the water that will bring the most beautiful pictures.
